Kids' Mystery Theater and Night Walk

MANHATTAN, KS – Parents, leave the kids with the Flint Hills Discovery Center for an evening of mystery theater! On Friday, August 21 from 6-9:30 p.m., FHDC’s exhibits come to life as children discover suspects who may have gone missing from the latest interactive exhibition, In the Dark.

Kids’ Mystery Theater: The Case of the Missing Marsupial is geared towards second through seventh graders and is open to the public. Dinner is included with pre-registration. FHDC youth members pay $20; adults, $5. Youth non-members pay $25; adults, $10. Please register by 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 20.

The following Friday, the whole family is invited to enjoy a night guided tour at Sunset Zoo and discover the animals after dark! Join FHDC on Friday, August 28, 8-9:30 p.m. and attend the night walk, After Sunset: Animal Encounters in the Dark. Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. All participants will need to meet at Sunset Zoo. FHDC members pay $6 and non-members pay $8.
