Annual Tuesday Night Talks schedule announced
The Pony Express Museum is preparing its 16th year of sponsoring Tuesday Night Talks. The program has become a popular and educational event in the community in January and February each year. Last year the museum had record breaking numbers in attendance, up to 175 people. These talks give those in attendance a chance to hear authors, historians and lecturers on a wide range of topics. Admission is free and light refreshments are served to all guests. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and speakers begin at 7 p.m. The talks are held in the Community Room of the Pony Express Museum at 914 Penn Street.

About St. Joseph, MO Visitors Bureau:
The St. Joseph Convention & Visitors Bureau was established by Buchanan County voters in the spring of 1993 with the purpose of advertising and promoting tourism in Buchanan County, Missouri. The CVB is governed by a board of seven members and is a political subdivision of the Buchanan County Commission.
The St. Joseph Convention and Visitors Bureau is an organization that will develop and implement marketing programs designed to maximize the economic impact of visitor dollars to Buchanan County.
As reported by the Missouri Department of Revenue, the direct economic impact of tourism related expenditures in Buchanan County in 2011 was $151 million dollars.
