    1800s period music will be selected from the best available. Dress: 1800s period dress highly encouraged, OR semi-formal party wear, OR military uniforms. Gloves are required and will be available. Long trains, spike heels, hobnails/heel-plates, spurs, swords, side-arms, pipes/tobacco products, and liquor are prohibited. Dressing rooms are available.     The Eudora Community Museum brings a traveling exhibit highlighting how communities in Douglas County were populated. Douglas County's Heritage Coordinator, Jan Shupert-Arick, researched the project which was funded by FFNHA & the Kansas Humanities Council & supported by Douglas County. The exhibit will run October 6 - December 29, 2018 on the 2nd floor of the Eudora Community Museum located at 720 Main Street in Eudora, Kansas. A related program will take place on November 15th at 7 p.m....details >>

    Olde World Christmas at Strawberry Hill Museum

    Victorian era decorations will adorn the mansion and the ethnic rooms will be filled with Christmas season “Olde World” traditions. In addition to our permanent ethnic exhibitors, there will be displays representing Mexico, Ireland and African-American cultures. Additional space has also been added to display German, Italian and Belgium traditions. There are also new items in the Gift Shop, so make sure you stop by after your tour.
