    1920’s Mystery Book Club

    May’s mystery - Journey to Munich by Jacqueline Winspear. It’s the 1930’s, not the 20’s, but we’ve read and enjoyed Winspear’s mysteries about Maisie Dobbs in the past. This later one sounds equally as thrilling. At the request of the Secret Service, Maisie Dobbs agrees to portray a man’s wife and retrieve her “husband” from a prison in Dachau just outside of Munich.     Kansas Riverkings Guided Walking Tour and Coffee Discussion

    Kansas Riverkings Museum exhibition provides guided walking tours. Education director, Barbara Higgins-Dover leads a journey into the past when 19th century rivermen worked the waters and sold what they caught to a hungry community. The 40 minute tour includes information about the Riverkings, their fishing cabins and equipment, how they marketed their catch, and the way they lived along the river.
