    Author Lyndon Irwin will sell and sign copies of his most recent publication "Nevada, Missouri: Stories from the Gem City". The book covers early history of Nevada, MO. Information is drawn from primary sources, and mostly newspaper accounts of the time. This was a period of rapid growth in Nevada following the town's destruction during the Civil War.     54th Annual Bushwhacker Days
