    2018 Living River Festival

    The festival wraps up today (Opening Reception, July 20) with another screening of "When Kings Reigned". This is a documentary about about the men who lived and fished commercially between 1870-1970. The two earliest men described are Abe Burns and Jake Washington, African Americans not long after the Civil War and Quantrill's raid on Lawrence.
