Stop by the Cass County Historic Society and walk through the Burnt District Museum, to see the history of Harrisonville since its establishment. This museum also includes the history of other towns within Cass County. The museum will often highlight a specific period of time in Cass County, to give visitors an in-depth look at the county history of that period. Visitors also have the opportunity to see first-hand the artifacts that have been recovered throughout the county, ranging from a cotton loom in the 1800’s to a washer from the 1920’s. Finally, the museum offers a small gift shop of historical artifacts and books of the county’s history.
The cabin is open for tours by contacting Cass County Historical Society at 816-380-4396 or email@example.com.
