    "Words Matter" Writing Workshop

    We have partnered with Emporia State University to host a Youth Writing Workshop. We are encouraging all youth to share their stories as we explore history. This is a three day event beginning on Wednesday June 6-8, from 9:00AM- 4:00PM on all three days. Grades 6-8 will meet from 9:00 A.M.-12 P.M.Grades 9-12 will meet from 1-4:00 P.M.     Pioneer Days at the Little Cabin

    Twenty-five years ago, at the height of the AIDS crisis, the city council took one of the most controversial steps in Kansas City's history.
