    This yearlong exhibit chronicles the 100-year history of Kansas City’s Guadalupe Centers, Inc. – and by extension, the history of the city’s thriving Hispanic and Latino community.     The Native American in Art

    The works of Karen White, from Kansas City, Kansas, tell stories, illuminate history, and depict emotions that capture a moment in time using monochrome and vibrant colors. Her art includes canvas, paper, walls, pavement, and children's book illustration. She works in pastel, watercolor, white chalk, oil, and graphite pencil.     Wornalll Ghost Tours

    John Wornall’s wife Eliza saw the construction of the Wornall House, witnessed its use as a field hospital during the Battle of Westport, suffered the deaths of her father and five of her children, and watched her city, country and home be torn apart during the Civil War. Dying shortly after the war, her spirit lives on in the Wornall House as one of the most commonly seen unearthly residents of the museum....details >>
