    Pioneer Days 2019: On the Trail

    Kids ages 7 to 12 are invited to join us On the Trail for this year's Pioneer Days Summer Day Camp! Learn what it was like to be a pioneer on the trail. Make decisions about what to pack and try your hand at loading a wagon! You’ll even build your own miniature wagon to keep.     Dream With Da Vinci

    Da Vinci was a dreamer and an inventor. Math, science and art are highlighted in this interactive, hands-on exhibit. Catapults, parachutes, and a hang glider are some of the inventions guests will find. Guests can add their own creativity and ideas, explore engineering and flight, and see how Da Vinci’s inventions contributed to modern technology.     Human Trafficking: Today's Slavery

    Victor Boutros, founding director/CEO of Virginia-based Human Trafficking Institute, examines this growing issue and how to combat it. As a former member of the U.S. Justice Department’s Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit, he has learned from traffickers and victims.
