    Pioneer Days 2019: On the Trail

    Kids ages 7 to 12 are invited to join us On the Trail for this year's Pioneer Days Summer Day Camp! Learn what it was like to be a pioneer on the trail. Make decisions about what to pack and try your hand at loading a wagon! You’ll even build your own miniature wagon to keep. You’ll also learn about the travelers who passed by the Dietrich’s cabin on the Humboldt Trail and what it was like to help one another along the way.     Dream With Da Vinci

    Da Vinci was a dreamer and an inventor. Math, science and art are highlighted in this interactive, hands-on exhibit. Catapults, parachutes, and a hang glider are some of the inventions guests will find. Guests can add their own creativity and ideas, explore engineering and flight, and see how Da Vinci’s inventions contributed to modern technology.     FFNHA Board of Trustees Meeting

    FFNHA staff and Board of Trustees meet in the even-numbered months. The Board of Trustees sets policy for Freedom's Frontier National Heritage Area. Board meetings include staff updates on FFNHA programs and projects, an introduction to the site where meeting is being held and its significance to FFNHA, and a business meeting.
