    The Moving Wall

    This half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., has traveled the country since 1984. Arranged by officials of American Legion Post 42. Like the National Memorial, “The Moving Wall” honors the men and women who served and died in the Vietnam War and those who were listed as missing in action. “The Moving Wall” was built by Vietnam Veteran volunteers.     Dream With Da Vinci

    Da Vinci was a dreamer and an inventor. Math, science and art are highlighted in this interactive, hands-on exhibit. Catapults, parachutes, and a hang glider are some of the inventions guests will find.     Lansing Independence Day and Fireworks Celebration!

    Free shuttle/parking (after 7 p.m., parking is $1) at Lansing High School to the park (north of 4-H Road, about 25 miles west of Main Street - K-7 Highway). Bring a chair. Motorcycle and ADA parking on the field. Last shuttle to the park is at 9:15 p.m. Park gates close at 9:30 p.m. Kids' rides/inflatables, food and beverages.
