Archaeology in the Classroom: Workshop for Teachers, Interpreters, Museum Docents

Jackson County Parks + Rec and the Truman Library invite you to take an exciting trip back in time! Practice the basics of scientific inquiry using archaeological data. Learn how archaeologists investigate and interpret past cultures and peoples, and how to incorporate this into your classroom. Complete curriculum guide and materials included. Class meets at Fort Osage (July 24-25), Truman Library (July 26), Lone Jack Battlefield Museum (July 27-28).

Cost: Workshop, Curriculum Guide and other materials - $45; Special full-time Student Rate - $30. *Optional: up to 2 graduate credit hours can be taken from Lindenwood University.
