For All the World to See

This nationally touring NEH on The Road exhibition examines visual culture and the struggle for racial equality in America (1940s to 1970s). Visitors explore compelling and persuasive images, including photographs from magazines like Life, Jet, and Ebony; CBS news footage; and clips from The Ed Sullivan Show. Also included are civil rights-era objects that exemplify the range of negative and positive imagery. View the exhibit during regular hours Tuesdays-Fridays; and Saturdays by appointment.
