Free screening and discussion of The Black Press: Soldiers without Swords

The National Archives at KC, the American Jazz Museum & the Greater KC Black History Study Group, will offer a screening & discussion of The Black Press: Soldiers without Swords. This documentary focuses on editors, photographers, & reporters from African American newspapers, who toiled on the front lines to give voice to a culture disenfranchised by white media.
