Museum After Hours: “Head ‘Em Up & Move ‘Em Out”, Jim Gray, director, National Drovers Hall of Fame

Join us for a special program on the early days of ranching and trail driving. This work required stamina and determination. Drovers had little choice but to face the elements to deliver wild cattle to market. The thousand miles of the trail often meant facing every threat of nature: lightning, floods, hail, tornadoes, and stampeding cattle. Today's beef industry owes its beginnings to the men and women who were bold enough to "head 'em up and move 'em out."
