Planting an Impact: Earth Day 2019

Celebrate Earth Day by restoring native prairie. Individuals, families, environmental groups, Girl Scouts, and Cub Scouts are invited to help manage the native landscapes to better support diverse plant and animal species. Participants may make seed bombs, clay balls containing plant seeds, and throw them in our prairies to increase the seed bank with native plant species. Powell Gardens’ staff and volunteers will be available at stations to share the importance of planting native species.
