The Native American in Art

The works of Karen White, from Kansas City, Kansas, tell stories, illuminate history, and depict emotions that capture a moment in time using monochrome and vibrant colors. Her art includes canvas, paper, walls, pavement, and children's book illustration. She works in pastel, watercolor, white chalk, oil, and graphite pencil. Karen was selected to create a portrait drawing of internationally acclaimed Jazz pianist Jay McShann. This exhibition features her art of Native Americans.
