Event one in our three part educational happy hour series featuring the surprising lives of Victorians and little-known secrets of Victorian society. From morphine to opium, Victorian society was adventurous and even wild in their pursuit of altered states. How did Victorian drug culture emerge and what can explain their desire for experimentation and oblivion?
