Freedom's Frontier National Heritage Area has had a great ten years. We need your help to ensure that our next ten years are even better.
In the past ten years, Freedom's Frontier has been recognized across the nation for our programming and partnerships. Our national heritage area management plan has been touted by the National Park Service as a model to be emulated. Our partnership on the innovative Twitter reenactment of Quantrill's Raid and its aftermath won national awards. Our Boys & Girls Club Summer Youth Camp is one of our areas' Boys & Girls Club's most popular summer programs. Our Interpretive Grant program and Bus on Us transportation grants have provided support for partner museums and historic sites and increased their ability to serve the area's youth.
We have big plans for the next ten years, as well! We plan to raise awareness of the heritage area in our own boundaries and across the nation as we implement our Signage Plan and increase our educational promotional efforts. We also plan to continue to grow our high-quality youth programs and grant programs.
Please join the list of those who are helping us to "Raise the Banner for Freedom" as we work to educate our youth, support our partners and promote our nationally significant heritage!
