Re-printing of 500 books of "Polly’s Amazing Journey"
Polly’s Amazing Journey, The History of the Quindaro Settlement in Kansas City, Kansas, was first introduced in 2009. Printed in an innovative, tête bêche style, the first side is written for pre-school to first grade students, with the second side written for second to third graders. Interpretative illustrations created by a young partner further add to the appealing presentation of this period in history. Polly’s Amazing Journey has been well-received by schools, libraries, and most importantly, students-so much so that only a few copies remain. A new printing, which will include side by side Spanish interpretation, is essential in order to introduce students to and retain focus on this significant era.
