January Partner Meeting

Freedom’s Frontier NHA will hold its first partner meeting of 2024 on Monday, January 22 at the Watkins Museum of History in Lawrence, KS. The meeting will focus on planning and preparing for the 250th Anniversary of America celebrations in 2026. Attendees will also have time to discuss their plans and ideas for the upcoming year.
Keep an eye out for the RSVP after the holidays!
The meeting space opens at 9:30 a.m. The program will begin at 10 and end at 2 p.m.
A catered lunch will be provided for a $13 fee, payable via credit/debit card online. Attendance is otherwise free.
Partner Meetings are among FFNHA’s primary means of fulfilling its mission. The events, which include speakers, breakout sessions, and best-practices seminars, encourage communication between the organization, FFNHA partners, and the communities they serve.

Freedom’s Frontier National Heritage Area (FFNHA) is dedicated to building awareness of the struggles for freedom in western Missouri and eastern Kansas. Its themes are the settlement of the frontier, the Missouri-Kansas Border War and Civil War, and the enduring struggle for freedom.
